Miriek Jansen van Rensburg
Hi, I'm Miriek! I studied BA Visual Communication and did my Honours degree in 2021, majoring in Design & Illustration at Open Window Institute.
Art has always been my safe space. Any form of art - from drawing to painting, to making a creature out of clay! Besides the art of illustrating a new character or designing packaging for my favourite wine, photography is also one of my favourite things to do!
About a year ago, I relocated to Cape Town and OH MY - I am still in awe of this beautiful city every, single day! Currently, I work as a full-time design and illustration freelancer, while running my small business as a wedding and lifestyle photographer.

Hanlie Farmer
I’ve loved drawing ever since I can remember. Growing up, I tried my hand at many art forms, from painting to photography. But my doodles always stayed closest to my heart and my little scribbles and twirls developed over the years.
Studying Graphic Design had a strong influence on my style: it became more structured, whilst maintaining a whimsical
element. I have pursued different career paths but never stopped drawing and in 2012 I started selling my Zendoodle artwork professionally.

Mike Sherman
I'm a freelance graphic designer and illustrator born and bred in Cape Town. After studying Visual Communications at Vega, and getting a background in graphic design, I began developing my creative style through teaching myself as much as I could. After learning much in the ad agency environment it was time for me to start my business and move in a direction that better suited my design style and skill-set.
I love working on anything from corporate identity and packaging to pattern and illustration work. Branching out as a freelancer has given me the opportunity to focus on projects that inspire me and has taught me how to manage and execute a variety of projects for clients from many different industries.

Anja Miller
Anja Miller is a freelance illustrator and graphic designer based in Pretoria, South Africa.
After completing a four year degree in Visual Communication Design at Stellenbosch University, she worked as a graphic designer in retail design. In 2018 she launched her illustration page on Instagram, and has been working on sharing her art and building her name as a digital illustrator.
In 2021 she started freelancing full time and became a published illustrator in 2022. She hopes to further her work in children’s book illustration.
Anja is inspired by the smaller details and moments of everyday life and has a passion for creating art that injects a little more joy into people’s lives.

Hello there, I am currently a fourth year Graphic Design student at North West University.
Since childhood I have always loved to draw and be creative. For me, as they say: "The sky is the limit!" My passion is illustration and video editing.
Last but not least, I am in my element when I can draw animals or nature.
